Mild Caciocavallo di Agnone with dried red pepper from Altino is a handcrafted, round-shaped, stretched curd cheese.

Features: mild Caciocavallo di Agnone with dried red pepper from Altino has a soft paste and a light-coloured, thin, edible rind. Its rich, milky taste is enhanced by the spicy aroma of red sweet pepper from Altino (Abruzzo Region, Province of Chieti), a Slow Food Presidium.

Serving suggestions: remove the mild Caciocavallo di Agnone with dried red pepper from Altino from the paper or plastic bag. Serve it at room temperature. If you grill it, the inside becomes crunchy while the outside remains soft. Keep it refrigerated in a plastic wrap.
