Features: Caciocavallo has a soft paste, a light-coloured, thin, edible rind, and a rich, milky taste. The flavor of truffle is strong but harmonious and does not overpower the flavor of the milk.
Serving suggestions: remove the mild Caciocavallo di Agnone with shredded black truffle from the paper or plastic bag. Serve it at room temperature. If you grill it, the outside becomes crunchy while the inside remains soft. Heat intensifies the flavor of the truffle. Keep it refrigerated in a plastic wrap.
