Features: Mild Caciotta Vaccina is a pressed curd cheese made with raw cow’s milk. It is usually 15-20 cm wide and 15 cm high. The exterior of Caciotta is compact and featured by wrinkles. The interior has small and sparse holes. The texture is soft and elastic and its taste is sweet.
Serving suggestions: remove the Mild Caciotta from the paper or plastic bag. Serve it at room temperature. If you grill it, the outside becomes crunchy while the inside remains soft. Keep it refrigerated in a plastic wrap.
